Favorite Travel Items for 2022

It is no secret that we love to travel. I also love when we find a great product that makes our life a little easier while traveling… because let’s face it, the actual travel days are usually the hardest! I also love when we can share those products with other people!

All of the items listed below are items that we purchased this year. Since Black Friday is right around the corner, I thought this would be a great time to share these items with you!

Here are my Favorite Travel Items of 2022:

1. Coolife 3 Piece Luggage Set - After completing our 3-month trip to Europe last year, we were in desperate need of new luggage. I am pretty sure that we had 3 pieces of luggage damaged during our travels! (Hear all about that trip here: OYBP) As soon as we returned to from our trip, I found this Coolife luggage set. We did not purchase it right away, but we did make sure to order it in time for our most recent trip.

I love the yellow color because not many people have luggage this color, which made it easy to spot our bags at the airport! It is available in 16 fun colors! The three sizes were perfect for fitting all of our needs for a 3-week trip (across seasons - sunny and snowy)! The wheels on the luggage are also very smooth…which is a huge bonus!

Another cool feature, which I did not use before, but will now that we experienced theft while traveling, is the locking mechanism on the luggage itself!

2. Selfie Stick Tripod - We had a selfie stick years ago, but lost it a while back. I decided to buy a new one for a couple of reasons. Mainly because it will be nice to take photos with George that don’t show my hand extending in front of me…lol! But I also thought it would help us to take videos during our travels.

During our last trip, I found another great use for it. It acted as a tripod for time lapse videos, which is a life saver for my arms! It is an inexpensive tool to make my life a little easier!

3. Lumina 4K Webcam - We purchased this for a few reasons, but mainly because the webcams on our computers are horrible! This webcam not only works well for us when we are home, but it is small and transports well when we travel! This ensures excellent video connection from anywhere (that has decent internet…lol)

4. Carry on Backpack - This is probably the item I am most excited about! I love that this backpack has compartments and travel cubes! You can wear it as a backpack, carry it as a duffel, or slide it onto the handles of your luggage! It also has some anti-theft pockets…which is always a bonus! I cannot wait to put this bag to the test on our next trip!

5. Safego Portable Lock Box - After our most recent cruise, where a staff member went into our room safe and stole, money from us, I started researching ways to better protect ourselves. That is when I came across this portable safe. While I know that nothing is foolproof, my thought is that if we use this item inside of our locked luggage at least the thieves would have to work harder to get to our personal items! I will not be lulled into a false sense of safety again, but I will try harder to protect my family!
